According to the problem analysis result done by CCA, you can directly begin the subsequent troubleshooting process from the corresponding potential root cause.
STEP 1 - Verify that all the wires of the blender are securely connected to the extension wire connectors
- Result 1 - Not securely connected.
Start STEP 2.
- Result 2 - Securely connected.
Start STEP 3.
STEP 2 - Reconnect the wires. Then, verify if the blender can blend typically.
- Result 1 - Can blend.
Issue close.
Root cause: Extension wire / blender wire disconnected.
- Result 2 - Cannot blend.
Start STEP 3.
STEP 3 - Verify the voltage from the extension power wire; the expected reading should be 110V AC.
- Result 1 - The power input is 110V AC.
Start STEP 5.
- Result 2 - The power input is not 110V AC.
Start STEP 4.
STEP 4 - Reconnect / replace the power extension wire. Then, verify if the blender can blend typically.
- Result 1 - Can blend.
Issue close.
Root cause: The power wire disconnected.
- Result 2 - Cannot blend.
Start STEP 5.
STEP 5 - Verify that all the signal wire connections on the control board are fine.
- Result 1 - Not securely connected.
Start STEP 6.
- Result 2 - Securely connected.
Start STEP 7.
STEP 6 - Reconnect the disconnected signal wire. Then, verify if the blender can blend typically.
- Result 1 - Can blend.
Issue close.
Root cause: Extension wire / control board connector disconnected.
- Result 2 - Cannot blend.
Start STEP 7.
STEP 7 - Replace the control board (see SOP here). Then, verify if the blender can blend typically.
- Result 1 - Can blend.
Issue close.
Root cause: The control board fails.
- Result 2 - Cannot blend.
Start STEP 8.
STEP 8 - Replace the blender (see SOP here). Then, verify if the blender can blend typically.
- Result 1 - Can blend.
Issue close.
Root cause: The blender fails.
- Result 2 - Cannot blend.
Escalate to PSE.
