According to the problem analysis result done by CCA, you can directly begin the subsequent troubleshooting process from the corresponding potential root cause.
1. Cleaning Tool Detection Bypass (Bypass the step if the customer DOESN'T use the manager account to start the cleaning process)
STEP 1 - Verify if the cleaning tool ball valve can be triggered when placed on the countertop.
- Result 1 - Can be triggered
Start "Flowmeter" chapter. - Result 2 - Cannot be triggered.
Start STEP 2.
STEP 2 - Follow the "Cleaning Tool Undetected" troubleshooting guide to fix the cleaning tool ball valve triggering, run a cleaning process to verify the issue is fixed.
- Result 1 - No water remaining in the cleaning sink
Issue closed. (Root cause: Cleaning tool undetected.) - Result 2 - Still water remaining in the cleaning sink.
Start "Flowmeter" chapter.
2. Flowmeter
STEP 1 - Pour 2 liters of water into the cleaning sink, switch the water distribution valve to “Down”, fill the previously cleaned tubes, and perform a 20-second dispensing of filtered water into a measuring cup. Verify the correspondence between the water volume and the flowmeter reading displayed on the UI.
Result 1 - Flowmeter reading is accurate.
Start "Pump" chapter.Result 2 - Flowmeter reading is not accurate.
Start STEP 2.
STEP 2 - Troubleshoot the flowmeter. Flush the line with hot water, and verify flowmeter functionality.
Result 1 - Flowmeter reading is accurate.
Issue closed. (Root cause: flowmeter obstruction)Result 2 - Flowmeter reading is not accurate.
Start STEP 3.
STEP 3 - Measure the voltage of the flowmeter at the extension cable connection for the corresponding flowmeter. The expected reading should be 5V.
Result 1 - The reading is 5V.
Start STEP 5.Result 2 - The reading is not 5V.
Start STEP 4.
STEP 4 - Replace the control board and verify flowmeter functionality.
Result 1 - Flowmeter reading is accurate.
Issue closed. (Root cause: The control board fails)Result 2 - Flowmeter reading is not accurate.
Start STEP 5.
STEP 5 - Replace the flowmeter, and verify flowmeter functionality.
Result 1 - Flowmeter reading is accurate.
Issue closed. (Root cause: The flowmeter fails)Result 2 - Flowmeter reading is not accurate.
Escalate to FAE.
3. Pump
STEP 1 - Verify if the water volume exceeds 400ml.
Result 1 - The water volume exceeds 400ml.
Escalate to FAE.Result 2 - The water volume is less than 400ml.
Start STEP 2.
STEP 2 - Troubleshoot the pump. Measure the voltage at the control board connector for the corresponding pump. The expected reading should be 24V
Result 1 - The reading is 24V.
Start STEP 4.Result 2 - The reading is not 24V.
Start STEP 3.
STEP 3 - Replace the control board and verify pump functionality.
Result 1 - The water volume exceeds 400ml.
Issue closed. (Root cause: The control board fails)Result 2 - The water volume is less than 400ml.
Start STEP 4.
STEP 4 - Replace the pump and verify pump functionality.
Result 1 - The water volume exceeds 400ml.
Issue closed. (Root cause: The motor board fails)Result 2 - The water volume is less than 400ml.
Escalate to FAE.
