Inspect leak sources (Or if TSA has identified the leak source.), and start the corresponding chapter.

1. Fridge
4-1-1-1 - Inspect leak sources.
- Result 1 - Water dripping caused by overflow drawer overflow.
Start 4-1-1-2. - Result 2 - Syrups dripping caused by poorly connected BiB connector.
Start 4-1-1-3.
- Result 3 - Leakage caused by loose manifold valve.
Start 4-1-1-4.
- Result 4 - Leakage from the ceiling of the fridge ceiling.
Start 4-1-1-5.
4-1-1-2 - Empty the overflow drawer, wipe out the water in the fridge, and remind the customer to empty the overflow drawer after completing the cleaning process.
- Result 1 - Leakage in the fridge stopped.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Overflow drawer overflow) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Restart 4-1-1-1.
4-1-1-3 - Reconnect the BiB connector, wipe out the water in the fridge, and train the customer to follow the tutorial from the QR code to insert the BiB connector to the BiB spout.
- Result 1 - Leakage in the fridge stopped.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Connect BiB incompletely) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Restart 4-1-1-1.
4-1-1-4 - Re-tighten the manifold check valve, wipe out the water in the fridge, and perform a water leakage test to validate that no water is leaking from the manifold check valve.
- Result 1 - Leakage in the fridge stopped.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Loose manifold valve) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Restart 4-1-1-1.
4-1-1-5 - Open the upper fridge and inspect the leak sources.
- Result 1 - From the pump/flowmeter/damper connections.
Start 4-1-1-6. - Result 2 - the solenoid valve connections.
Start 4-1-1-7. - Result 3 - Leakage caused by loose manifold valve.
Start 4-1-3-1.
4-1-1-6 - Reconnect it properly and verify there are no leaks.
- Result 1 - Leakage in the fridge stopped.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Ingredient tubing disconnected) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Restart 4-1-1-1.
Step 7 - Reconnect it properly and verify there are no leaks.
- Result 1 - Leakage in the fridge stopped.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Sparkling water tubing disconnected) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Restart 4-1-1-1.
2. Compressor and Condenser
4-1-2-1 - Follow the SOP to refill the refrigerant and verify that no condensation forms on the compressor surface.
- Result 1 - No condensation.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Too many refrigerants in the compressor) - Result 2 - Water is still condensing.
Escalate to FAE.
3. Cup Rinser Sink
4-1-3-1 - Verify if the nut under the cup rinser sink has holes & three poles to support the cup rinser sink.
- Result 1 - No hole on the nut and no poles.
Start 4-1-3-4. - Result 2 - There are holes in the nut, and three poles are attached.
Start 4-1-3-4.
- Result 3 - There are holes in the nut, but no pole is attached.
Start 4-1-3-2.
4-1-3-2 - Verify if the leaks are from the cup rinser sink bottom.
- Result 1 - Leak from the cup rinser sink bottom.
Start 4-1-3-3. - Result 2 - No leak from the cup rinser sink bottom.
Attach 3 poles back to the nut (see SOP here), then start 4-1-3-4.
4-1-3-3 - Replace the countertop set, and reinstall the cup rinser, drainage tube, and tap water inlet. Then verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: missing cup rinser sink poles) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Start 4-1-3-4.
4-1-3-4 - Verify if the leak occurs from the marked position of the picture.
- Result 1 - No.
Start 4-1-3-6. - Result 2 - Yes.
Start 4-1-3-5.
4-1-3-5 - Use an allen key to tighten the hex in the elbow, and check if there is still any leak.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Loose tap water inlet elbow hex) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Start 4-1-3-6.
4-1-3-6 - Check if black gaskets are on both sides at the bottom of the cup rinser sink.
- Result 1 - Black gaskets are attached on both sides.
Start 4-1-3-8. - Result 2 - Any of the black gaskets is gone.
Start 4-1-3-7.
4-1-3-7 - Install the missing gasket, tighten the cup rinser, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: missing cup rinser gasket) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Start 4-1-3-10.
4-1-3-8 - Check if the nuts at the bottom of the cup rinser sink and the tap water line inlet are tightened.
- Result 1 - Tightened.
Start 4-1-3-10. - Result 2 - Not tightened.
Start 4-1-3-9.
4-1-3-9 - Re-tighten the nut and the tap water line inlet, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Loose nut/tap water line inlet) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Start 4-1-3-10.
4-1-3-10 - Check if there is a black gasket inside the nut of the tap water line inlet.
- Result 1 - Yes.
Escalate to FAE. - Result 2 - No.
Start 4-1-3-11.
4-1-3-11 - Install the missing gasket, tighten the nut and the tap water line inlet, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: missing tap water line inlet gasket) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
4. Water I/O Plate
4-1-4-1 - Inspect leak sources.
- Result 1 - From the I/O connections.
Start 4-1-4-2. - Result 2 - From the hole located at the bottom right corner of the I/O plate.
Start 4-1-4-3.
4-1-4-2 - Identify the source of the leak, reseal the connection causing the leakage, and verify if there are still any leaks:
From the filtered water / sparkling water inlet:
Apply the elbow connector (3/8” stem X 3/8” QC) to the filtered water inlet, and apply the locking clips if there are no locking clips.
From the tap water inlet & drainage line:
Reapply sealing tape and tighten it securely.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Incomplete sealing at the water I/O plate connections.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
4-1-4-3 - Identify the source of the leak and reseal the connection causing the leakage.
- Result 1 - From the flowmeter connections.
Start 4-1-4-4. - Result 2 - From the tubing/solenoid connections.
Start 4-1-4-7.
4-1-4-4 - Verify if there is a gasket inside the metal connector and the damper connector connected to the flowmeter.
- Result 1 - No gasket.
Start 4-1-4-5. - Result 2 - There are gaskets in the metal connector and the damper connector.
Start 4-1-4-6.
4-1-4-5 - Install the missing gasket, and ensure the gasket is placed in the groove of the metal connector. Tighten the metal connectors back to the flowmeter, and verify if there are still any leaks.
* Escalate to FAE if you start this step.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: missing flowmeter gasket.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
4-1-4-6 - Verify if the gasket is deformed or misaligned.
- Result 1 - The gasket is deformed/misaligned.
Start 4-1-4-7. - Result 2 - The gasket is in good condition.
Start 4-1-4-8.
4-1-4-7 - Install a new gasket, and ensure the gasket is placed in the groove of the metal connector. Tighten the metal connectors back to the flowmeter, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: flowmeter gasket is deformed/misaligned.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
4-1-4-8 - Reinstall the gasket to the connector, then tighten the connector back, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: flowmeter connector is not tight enough.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
5. Ambient Pump Bracket
4-1-5-1 - Inspect leak sources.
- Result 1 - From the ambient pump.
Start 4-1-5-2.
- Result 2 - From the ambient flowmeter.
Start 4-1-5-2. - Result 3 - From the ambient flowmeter/damper connections.
Start 4-1-5-6.
4-1-5-2 - Fix the leakage from the pump and verify if there are still any leaks:
Inlet/outlet:
Reconnect the tubes, and move the clamps to the proper positions for sealing.
Other positions on the pump:
Replace the pump.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Tubing disconnected / the pump sealing fails.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
4-1-5-3 - Verify if there is a gasket inside the metal connector and the damper connector connected to the flowmeter.
- Result 1 - No gasket.
Start 4-1-5-4. - Result 2 - There are gaskets in the metal connector and the damper connector.
Start 4-1-5-5.
4-1-5-4 - Install the missing gasket, and ensure the gasket is placed in the groove of the metal connector. Tighten the metal connectors back to the flowmeter, and verify if there are still any leaks.
* Escalate to FAE if you start this step.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Missing flowmeter gasket) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Start 4-1-5-5.
4-1-5-5 - Verify if the gasket is deformed or misaligned.
- Result 1 - The gasket is deformed/misaligned.
Start 4-1-5-6. - Result 2 - The gasket is in good condition.
Start 4-1-5-7.
4-1-5-6 - Install a new gasket, and ensure the gasket is placed in the groove of the metal connector. Tighten the metal connectors back to the flowmeter, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: flowmeter gasket is deformed/misaligned.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
4-1-5-7 - Reinstall the gasket to the connector, then tighten the connector back, and verify if there are still any leaks.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: flowmeter connector is not tight enough.) - Result 2 - Still leaking.
Escalate to FAE.
6. Cleaning Sink
4-1-6-1 - Remove the cleaning sink strainer, and measure the length of the silicone tube. The gap between the cleaning sink bottom and the top of the silicone tube should be less than 19mm.
- Result 1 - More than 19mm.
Start 4-1-6-2. - Result 2 - Less than 19mm.
Start 4-1-6-3.
4-1-6-2 - Align the barb of the strainer with the silicone tube, and reinstall the strainer back to the cleaning sink. Then, verify if there are still any leaks from the cleaning sink bottom.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Disconnect of the silicone tube and the strainer barb) - Result 2 - Still leaking
Start 4-1-6-3.
4-1-6-3 - Remove the countertop set, and check if the Kay-5 water inlet tube is connected well.
- Result 1 - Well-connected.
Start 4-1-6-5. - Result 2 - Not connected.
Start 4-1-6-4.
4-1-6-4 - Reconnect the Kay-5 water inlet tube, and verify if there are still any leaks from the cleaning sink bottom.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Kay-5 water inlet tube is disconnected) - Result 2 - Still leaking
Start 4-1-6-5.
4-1-6-5 - Replace the original silicone tube with a longer silicone tube to ensure the gap is less than 19mm. Then, install the countertop set and the strainer back, and verify if there are still any leaks from the cleaning sink bottom.
- Result 1 - No leak.
Issue closed. (Root cause: The silicone tube is too short to connect with the strainer barb.) - Result 2 - Still leaking
