1. Dripping from Nozzle
STEP 1 - Verify if the duckbill valve is completely closed when idle.
- Result 1 - The duckbill valve is not completely closed.
Start STEP 2. - Result 2 - The duckbill valve is completely closed.
Start STEP 3.
STEP 2 - Replace the duckbill valve, fill tube, and make a test drink to verify the quality
- Result - Drinks should be fine, but need to observe for a few days to check that the dripping issue does not occur again.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Duckbill valve failure)
STEP 3 - Fill tube and verify if the tube is empty for a bit at the beginning.
- Result 1 - The tube is empty for a bit at the beginning.
Educate the customer to fill the tube after the machine is idled overnight.
Issue closed. (Root cause: Overnight ingredient dripping) - Result 2 - The ingredient can be dispensed smoothly all the time.
Start "Flowmeter" chapter.
2. Flowmeter
STEP 1 - Replace the flowmeter (see fridge flowmeter SOP / ambient flowmeter SOP here) , and verify flowmeter functionality.
- Result 1 - The flowmeter reading is accurate.
Start STEP 2. - Result 2 - The flowmeter reading is inaccurate.
Escalate to PSE.
2-2-2-2 - Fill tube, and make a drink to verify that the dispense wrong volume issue is resolved.
- Result 1 - The drink can be made with the right volume and taste.
Issue close.
Root cause: The flowmeter fails. - Result 2 - The dispense volume is still wrong.
Escalate to PSE.
