According to the problem analysis result done by TSA, you can directly begin the subsequent troubleshooting process from the corresponding potential root cause.

1. Cleaning Tool

1-3-1-1 - Push the cleaning tool all the way in (applied forces from the front and the back at the same time as shown) and check if the cleaning tool ball valve can be triggered when starting the cleaning process (you should be able to hear a humming sound from the cleaning tool ball valve).

  • Result 1 - Can be triggered.
    Issue close.
Root cause: The cleaning tool was not placed properly.

  • Result 2 - Cannot be triggered
    Start 1-3-1-2.

1-3-1-2 - Switch the cleaning ball valve one time on the Control page, and measure the voltage at the pogo board (first and second pins on the second row). The expected reading should be 24V.

  • Result 1 - The reading is 24V.
    Start 1-3-1-3.

  • Result 2 - The reading is not 24V.
    Start 1-3-2-1.

1-3-1-3 - Verify if the spring-loaded tubes on the back of the cleaning tool can rebound properly.

  • Result 1 - The spring-loaded tube can rebound.
    Start 1-3-1-4.

  • Result 2 - The spring-loaded tube cannot rebound.
Replace the cleaning tool and restart 1-3-1-1.

1-3-1-4 - Verify if the cleaning tool cases has any damage, especially the white plastic shim underneath the tool.

  • Result 1 - No damages.
    Start 1-3-1-5.
  • Result 2 - Damage discovered.
Replace the cleaning tool and restart 1-3-1-1.

1-3-1-5 - Flip the cleaning tool and unscrew the bottom case, check if all the wires are properly connected.

  • Result 1 - The wires are all connected.
    Start 1-3-2-1.

  • Result 2 - The wires are disconnected.
    Start 1-3-1-6.

1-3-1-6 - Connect the wires properly.

  • Restart 1-3-1-1.

2. Control Board & Power Supply

1-3-2-1 - Switch the cleaning ball valve one time on the Control page, and measure the voltage at the "MB/P2" on the control board (red and black pins). The expected reading should be 24V.

  • Result 1 - The reading is 24V.
    Escalate to FAE.

  • Result 2 - The reading is not 24V.
    Start 1-3-2-2.

1-3-2-2 - Replace the control board (see SOP here), and verify if the voltage of 'MB/P2' is 24V.

  • Result 1 - The reading is 24V.
    Restart 1-3-1-2.

  • Result 2 - The reading is not 24V.
    Start 1-3-2-3 .

1-3-2-3 - Check if the power supply switch is on 115V.

  • Result 1 - The switch is on 115V.
    Escalate to FAE.

  • Result 2 - The switch is not on 115V.
Switch it to 115V and restart 1-3-1-2 .
