According to the problem analysis result done by TSA, you can directly begin the subsequent troubleshooting process from the corresponding potential root cause.
1. Solenoid
2-3-1-1 - Start pumping the malfunctioning tube (water-tube 13/sparkling water-tube 14/Kay-5 valve), and measure the voltage at the control board connector for the corresponding solenoid. The expected reading should be 24V
Solenoid 1: Water Solenoid 2: Sparkling water Solenoid 4: Kay-5 water
- Result 1 - The reading is 24V.
Start 2-3-1-3. - Result 2 - The reading is not 24V.
Start 2-3-1-2.
2-3-1-2 - Replace the control board (see SOP here) and verify solenoid functionality.
- Result 1 - The water dispenses fine.
Start 2-3-1-4.
Root cause: The control board fails. - Result 2 - The water is still unable to dispense.
Start 2-3-1-3.
2-3-1-3 - Replace the corresponding solenoid (see SOP here), and verify solenoid's functionality.
- Result 1 - The water dispenses fine.
Start 2-3-1-4. - Result 2 - The water is still unable to dispense.
Escalate to FAE.
2-3-1-4 - Make a drink and open Kay-5 valve to verify the resolution of the dispensing issue.
- Result 1 - The drinks are made successfully and taste fine, and the Kay-5 water dispenses.
Issue close.
