5-3 - R4.5 Error Message & Warning Sound From Fridge Panel

According to the problem analysis result done by TSA, you can directly begin the subsequent troubleshooting process from the corresponding potential root cause.


5-3-1-1 - Is the error message on the display showing "dtH"?


  • Result 1 - The error message on the display is "dtH".
    Start 5-3-1-2.

  • Result 2 - The error message on the display is not "dtH". 
    Start 5-3-1-3.


5-3-1-2 - Disconnect the fridge power cord, open the fridge back cover, and reconnect the control board wiring connections marked in the wiring diagram. Then check if there is still an error message on the display.



  • Result 1 - No error message on the display.
    Issue closed. (Root cause: Fridge signal wiring disconnected.) 

  • Result 2 - "dtH" is still on the display. 
    Start 5-3-1-3.




5-3-1-3 - Take a picture of the control board to identify the type of the control board and send it to the remanufacturing team. The remanufacturing team will send a new functional control board to your site. Then start 5-3-1-4.




5-3-1-4 - Replace the control board and verify the fridge functionality. 

  • Result 1 - The error message or the warning beep sound is gone.
    Issue closed. (Root cause: Fridge control board malfunction.) 

  • Result 2 - The issue is not fixed
    Escalate to FAE.
